StreamRemote Terms of Use
These terms cover your use of StreamRemote, made by Boland Solutions, LLC. By using StreamRemote, you agree to them. Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement also applies to apps from the App Store.
1. What StreamRemote is, and isn’t
StreamRemote is a client app. The devices it drives (your TV, streaming boxes and the companion server you run) are owned and configured by you, and you are responsible for keeping them up to date and operating them safely. StreamRemote only forwards commands you choose through the app.
Features that depend on third-party devices or services (Samsung, Roku, Fire TV, Sony or an LLM you run locally) can change or stop working when those third parties change their protocols, and we make no promise about compatibility beyond what works at a given release.
2. Acceptable use
Use StreamRemote lawfully, and only with devices, networks and accounts you are authorized to use.
3. No warranty
StreamRemote is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
4. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Boland Solutions, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of StreamRemote. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
5. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always posted here, and the effective date above will change.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any consumer protection rights you have under the laws where you live.
